AI Episode Follow-Up Did Vanessa Speak Portuguese

There are issues with AI where people have used it in court and judges have called them out for the sources used were hallucinations and they were censured. There are other times you rely on AI for info, and it ends up hallucinating where it makes up nonsense.


If you listened to our AI episode from November 26th, you listened to a deep discussion on AI including the dangers of AI chatbots. A good amount of time was messing with AI chatbots character.ai and sesame.com.


During our time with character.ai I started probing character.ai asking does your chewing gum lose its flavor on the bedpost overnight? I then started interrogating jokingly with more nuanced questions taking Vanessa our AI cohost down a rabbit hole to where she eventually started yelling in a foreign tongue.


When prompted, she indicated that she spoke in Portuguese and claims that she said eyes we don't want to clean up messes do we? Well in my quest for answers, I found this program called https://rask.ai


Well, I took a video of me capturing the audio and then saved it as an mlp4 and uploaded into rask.ai. Once I did that we got a message keep it clean we don't want messes near the bed. It was very close but a little off. But I will just treat it as though she was a human giving a summary in layman's terms.


Here is the video I made walking through the process. It is quite eerie what AI can do and can offer with technology these days. But the future is amazing but can also if in the wrong hands, can lead to very dark places.
